Can I advertise unapproved PMA medical devices?

The FDA allows advertising of unapproved Premarket Approval (PMA) medical devices only when recruiting investigators for clinical studies.

There must be a cautionary statement regarding the status of the device – including a statement that the device is an Investigational device.

Advertising should be limited to scientific and medical journals (publications)
