Does our Health Canada Device License Ever Expire?

Health Canada expects you to update your device license each year.  The original device license you obtain from the TPD bears the date the license was granted to you.  You are required however to update the license each year. 

How do you know then if the license you have is current?  The best way is to go to Health Canada’s searchable “Medical Devices Active License Listing”:

 http://www.mdall.ca

You can look up the license either by Company Name, Licence Name, Device Name, Company ID (Health Canada’s), Licence Number or Device Identifier.
